if youve pulled away the right part it will expose the rear edge of the headlining, then you need to pull/ unclip the C pillars ( the bit the rear seatbelt attaches to. then you pull the headlining down to expose the underneath of the aerialJosh_6n2_Polo wrote:hmm i tried so i take out that plastic bit at the end of the boot? then what?
yep just to give you more room to pull the headlining down and get access to the bolt, my headlining of glued to the top and there's a piece of wood in mine toJosh_6n2_Polo wrote:Right I've done the first bit right lol. So do i just slightly pull the "C" pillar away to let the headling have more room to move? because my headlining is really stuck to the roof so i have to gently pull it from the roof to get acess?

it was well mint! had 111k on the clock but still had a lot of like left in her.. The guy who bought it was soo thick! he bought it off me for 2grand and was gonna sell it back to me for 200 quid lol. but he shagged the car badly! i reckon i wouldve just stripped it for breaking spare parts and made my profit lol.RS_GT wrote:thats a clean looking 6n! was so close to buying a 6n, but the 6n2 interior swayed it for me, glad i went for this one

i wouldnt worry too much, i creased mine a lot when i was doing it but its ok now. trick is not to pull it back and hold it their for long, pull it back as much as you need undo the bolt fit the new one and put it back, all the creases now on mine have disappeared, probably because its foam. just pull it down just enough to give you enough roomJosh_6n2_Polo wrote:Grr got access to the bolt but couldnt get enough room to get my spanner to it! I don't wanna crease anything!
did you remove the grab handles on the rear or else you are more likely to crease it?Josh_6n2_Polo wrote:Grr got access to the bolt but couldnt get enough room to get my spanner to it! I don't wanna crease anything!
