Getting ready for this challenge, do I need to disconnect the battery from the car?, any risks doing this for module programming?, would the same battery need re coded?

To remove the front seats if no issue disconnection battery, can the seat wire be disconnected with no issues on air bag system?

Is the seat covers able to be removed and re attached with not to much issues?

No problem, electronically speaking.

The manuals recommend a specific tool to isolate the dedicated terminals on the airbag connector, which must be installed when the seat is removed.
If you do not have this tool (and as a suggestion that you should never use ) you can tape the connector with cloth tape so that nothing can get inside the connector and put the terminals in contact.

Looking for some guidance for my 6C heat seat retrofit,
The wiring shown here shows 1 control module for both seats, but the wiring has several fuses referenced thanks to ichel information, does anyone have each of this diagram with the ref for each item known in full to help. Fuse sc26 - 5A, sc36 - 10A, sc55 - 10A?

Anyone with a 6c with heated seats able to help?

I got a 6C wiring loom kit and will photo the connections I have to compare to the diagram.

I am trying to complete my wiring in of the heated seats to the car

6R kit wiring looks like this I believe The kit I got for a 6c looks like this, I need to change the seat plug ends to the same as the 6R as the GT seats have those plugs, but I only have the following wires available..

For up at fuse box
1 big wire with crimp for large fuse -Blue/black
1 x light wire for small fuse - red
A grey wire
A brown earth - with earth crimp

The control unit as shown with wires And the 15 and 16 output to seats red/yellow and yellow/black which have own earths
I seem to short of bcm cable and or illumination cable and a third power cable....by wiring diagram....
Can you help as stuck till I get this sorted to finish install.

1 x light wire for small fuse - red --> this one goes to the BCM T73a/36
A grey wire --> this one is for the illumination
A brown earth - with earth crimp --> connect all of them to an earthing point

Is the bcm the black plug? Or white one on my motor, here is it’s chassis

Thanks to iichel made progress wires clipped into fuse box on fuse 26 which is class 75, so should go off with ignition off I think..., red wire into plug A black plug on BCM terminal 36, awkward as hell, plug c is a arse to get back into the bcm.

Got earth onto nice main framing assemble bolt as it a solid earth.

Got to change the plugs on the wiring, but will try with the seat pads I have loose to ensure I know which switch switches on which set before running them under the carpet to the seat areas.

Then got the usb hub and rear additional usbs to get all wired in, and fix the bulb gone on the cigarette socket!!
