Licence plate light wiring done last week
In licence plate light connector pin no 2 was +ve searched the common wire of both connectors and connected wire to bcm.

It is necessary to add this wire (SB49b to T73b/11) and a 15 Amp fuse in your friend's Sedan, apart from the two wires mentioned above for the cornering lights (foglights).

I do not know if this Sedan has the Steering Angle Sensor (G85) like this viewtopic.php?f=56&t=69603&start=15#p520005 (with inspection window).
This sensor is necessary.


Take a picture of the buttons above the radio.

I suppose it does have the steering angle sensor, otherwise the power steering probably woudn't work? Or does it have its own sensor?
The power steering on the Polo here didn't function when the ABS was having a bad day (so the G85 wouldn' t communicate)

Yes, this is definitely possible. It is the same way the OEM static cornering lights in fog lights operate
