Think the styling has been heavily influenced by the need to meet crash test standards and pedestrian impact stuff.

107 <--> 1007
im not so sure on the differences, not when they're put side to side like that. Looks like the same car with different body kits to me.... if you just make a basic outline the only pure difference is the slight bullbar bulge of the front bumper and the lights being a bit different... the rest of the differences (slight panel rearrangement, different rear lights) look like they're to accomodate the sliding door.

The 1007 looks morelike a smart car with the extra trim
i wouldn't be seen dead in any of them though!
whats with all the latest hatchbacks looking like mpv's? tall,ugly and headlights bigger than wheels!, just doesn't do it for me.

it's that distressing yellow-plus-black colour scheme that does it ... makes them look just like my bossman's bumblebee smart car.
(LHD europe-only not-for-you-seely-eengleesh-kerniggits 800cc turbo diesel edition no less... pokey, and does 70mpg down the motorway! he's had 90+ out of it .... and i dont mean he disabled the speed limiter neither)

I like them. I think they're a good idea...perfect for 90% of the Micra, Fiesta, Corsa, Fox, etc customers. Small, quirky, easy to drive and park.
For looks, I'd have the Peugeot, but if I put my logical cap on, I'd get the Toyota, purely for customer service and technical expertise.
