If you get one coming towards you, flash and wave, it's dead funny when they subconciously wave back :P

reminds me - next time i'm in maplins, i'm so having one of those 12v signboards for the parcel shelf :D

"back off, dickhead"
"i'm only going to go SLOWER if you keep coming closer"
"GET OFF THE PHONE!"
"dip your high beams you moron" (or: "LIGHTS!")
"WAKE UP!" / "MIRRORS!!!" (after just passing a slowpoke with a mile long queue behind, or anyone who's plainly not paying attention)
"Who are you overtaking??" / "There are TWO lanes here" - p*ss-poor lane discipline is a mysteriously growing epidemic..

etc

plus more friendly messages

"Thanks!"
"Sorry"
10 REM Basic message choosing program
20 CLS
30 FOR A=1 TO INT(RND(4)); READ B$; NEXT A
40 "You've got ";B$
50 DATA "a light out", "your foglights on", "a flat tyre", "a massive cloud of smoke coming out of your exhaust"
RUN
SYNTAX ERROR IN 50 - MAXIMUM STRING LENGTH EXCEEDED

:D

nice one today, silly tart tailgating me through traffic, off the a38m (damn, took the wrong exit, hit the silly-stupid-dumb bottleneck on grav hill road) all the way up to the six ways island............ on her phone the entire way

sign would have needed

PRINT "Get off my tail..."
PRINT " . . . AND . . . "
PRINT "get off the phone!"

:)

its not like i could have gone any faster with a bus (a safe distance) in front and two lanes of traffic coming the other way, now!

forgot one: "Signals! Those little orange lights that mean so much" (fast scroll for that one)
and maybe... "ENGLISH, Muddyfunster, do you speak it?" (or read it, i guess... both for stupid ignorance of signs and for not paying heed to the signboard)

How much are they then? And do you program in your own messages?
