mine needed a really good tug when i changed to aero wipers, but be careful as you don't wanna break the glass.
i used this little helper to persuade the corroded surface of the motor shaft to let go of the wiper arm
i soaked the joint in wd40 beforehand and waited a little. the motor is attached to the inner face of the trunk door so you can apply as much controlled force as you can, it won't break the glass. hope you sort it out
