Im 22, been driving 4 and a half years, and I have 2 years no claims (Insured through dad for the first 2 years) - Im with elephant, insured fully comp on a 1995 M Reg MK4, 1.3 8v.
£329, me as main driver, with my dad and my mate on as named drivers.

just insured my daughter through HSBC insurance with there Doric plan (motor insurance for the younger female driver and for male drivers in office based occupations).......17 yrs old and still a learner and policy in her name £995 TPFT on a 1997 1.4 CL............

this topic couldnt have come at a better time for me.
Im getting my 2 years no claims at the end of this month...
Im in london so my insurance is alot more then all you lot.
Iv been searching about... Quinn isnt that good... the best they quoted me was 860. Money supermarket wasnt that good neither Confused... they were quoting around £1000.
However... Money Supermrket called me afterwards and put me threw to a coulple insurers and brookers....
One of them....
I would recomend GSI insurance... they are a broker... and have quoted me 667... threw HSBC.... ITS is really good considering my post code.

Ive just turned 18 and bought a 1.4 polo cl mk4, and the cheapest inurance was with quin but it was £2145 for tpfat looking at your lots quotes i think i got robbed

hiya im now 20 but i got my car when i was 19 i got covered by HIC mainly deal with mods, ive got a few, really good £1009 for my 1st year! fantastic!
now done a quote with them with 1 year no claims and got £603!! go with them there great!!

i started on a mk4 polo wen i wa 17 under my mums name an i was payin 1100, now tho im payin 700quid an i have 3 points an crashed, but if u want it super low, put ur parent as the car owner an put urself as the named driver an u will be payin peanuts mate

i'm old. ive got 9 years NCB and my 16v costs me £260 fully comp with protected NCB.
on the down side, my knees are fooked and i'm going bald.

I got Full Comp in my first year of driving with a Local independant broker for £340 (bargain) but thats because they only cover my area + because car crime & accidents are so low on the Isle of Wight they hardly ever have to pay out.
In my second it came down to £250 with 1NCB.
