My favourite
Those aren't the San Marinos, I forgot what they are called but I also forgot how nice they look, to me they would be £90 each so I'm now seriously thinking about these on my next car
Car looks great BTW. You also have the new style rear wiper blade...
I really had get that disposable camera developed, lol. Though my pic just show the rear end striped and a worse for wear alloy wheel

I thought it was just my 1.2 that was easy to stall. Anything below 1500 revs usually make the engine 'shudder' slightly

Cheers Nelson, I'm pretty sure they're Barcelona wheels. Set me back about £370 inc tyres and VAT (as you can probably tell, I got them on the cheap as well).
polo2k, not sure if you can really class it as a mod, but the first extra for it will be the dash-mounted 6-disc changer.
Next, I'm hoping to get a decent set of coilovers (any ideas, lads?), as I'm not totally happy with the ride hide atm. Don't want it absolutely huggin' the road mind.
Then I want to scrap those ugly drum brakes (it's simply not right, having 16 inch wheels with drums behind, is it?), then possibly a rear spoiler.
Not going to bother tinkering under the bonnet till I've loosened her up a fair bit.
Btw, sorry about the 'I want you' bit, a typo, I assure you!

Your car is looking good ratty! Your alloys are called 'Contur' they are pretty smart. The barcalona wheels are more like the golf gti turbo wheels sort of a double 5 spoke if you know what i mean. Just thought I'd let you know.

Ahhh, they're called 'Contur'

I like them 'cause they look like the melbournes, they're and inch bigger and they have slightly better detailing. But #370 inc. VAT. Thats a bargain!!

I take it they 1/2 inched your old wheels though? Are the 205/45 tyres?
6 CD player is worth the money, and its cheaper from factory!! lol
Some people have noted problems with there CD players, but my dealership fitted a 3B5 player (Passat) instead of a 6Q0 and I've had no problems whatsoever.
You might wanna add a Speaker upgrade kit though. Having only four speakers is crap

Cheers for that polo-03. Always handy to know what wheels you've got! Indeed they are 205/45 tyres nelson, good guess.
The wheels are indeed very similar to Melbournes, like you say, but have a grove down the centre of the spokes and are indeed an inch bigger.
I think I'll wait until I've passed till I get the CD player, as I'm not allowed to any music whilst driving atm anyway.

Ratty,
If you can afford it go for the Zymol Concours wax, trust me it's worth every penny, you won't regret it.
