It's not allowed on the road till tomorrow ('03 reg), so the dealer brought her over on trade plates and she's tucked up in the garage!
Got home from college, the old man made up some story about needing a lift in the garage (didn't suspect a thing
), went outside, opened the garage, and there she was!1.2 55bhp...metallic black...16 inch wheelies...looks the dog's danglies at nightime. Just trying to work out what wheels they are at the mo! Me Dad says they're the Sport wheels, but the sport wheels are 15 inch, whereas mine are 16inch. They might well be Barcelona (they're 5-spoke), but I'll have to confirm tomorrow.
Oh, and the engine may be the absolute bottom of the range, but boy, does she sound nice! Gave a few quick squirts up to 5.5kish and it just sounds so sweet...u 4-cylinder boys don't know what ya missing!
Got a few more bits and bobs to sought out now, like a 6-disc changer, lowering springs/dampers (riding a touch too high on standard susp for my liking), and possibly the Caractere body kit...undecided on that one.
No pics to show as of yet, but rest assured I'll upload plenty for you lot tomorrow night.
Now all I need to do is drive the bloody thing!
