He's well equipped with the english language m8

I'll try to get him to join the forum, but he's quit busy at the moment with the bi-turbo set-up and all, so if it's quick answers you're after, feel free to PM me, I'm kind of well up-to-date on the car and can alwasy ask him when I'm visiting the shop again 8)

lovely car mate..is it 4wd?, imo there is a point where 4wd becomes a necessity especially when you start throwing this kind of cash at a project, i have enough problems getting the power down in mine...

if he hasnt I would make sure thats the next mod, would turn this thing into an absolute monster...not that it isnt already!

Look ate who posted that on YouTube  just look in my account, I've made some more video's of his mk4

@ shantybeater: no, it's still front-wheel driven. 4WD was once a project, or better said Quattro was, the plan was to get a A3 Quattro drivetrain under it, but there just isn't any room for it underneath a mk4, it's impossible to get it under and get it passed Dutch MOT (annual check-ups by law)

Like I said, saturday was a long day, but here are the promised pics and videos from both saturday and sunday.

Working on the mk4's

Carlo Hulsen programming the stand-alone motormanagement of the bi-turbo mk4

"Onthe road", just to "test Carlo's programming skills"
Image

After a couple of laps of the bi-turbo mk4 Carlo got out his owm Golf mk2 bi-turbo 2.0 20v
Image

After the drive back to the shop, Jeroen found it necessary to "see wether the programming software survived the trip"
Also he wanted to "pracktise" on taking of without wheelspin for the sprinting on sunday.

Played some with another m8s his pocketquad, nice little yellow fellow with 70cc's

And then sunday came, sprinting-day on the TT-circuit in Assen. Unfortunately weather-conditions were dramatic :( It had rained all morning, and kept raining very slightly all day long  Anyway, here some video's of two runs of the mk4 bi-turbo (check out that wheelspin on the wet strip )

Of to the next sprinting event, this time with a nice little sun over the dry circuit 8)
