I've got this piping:

It's different to the one that is sold on eBay (I have owned both), and touch wood, hasn't faded yet.

Now that looks decent, is it slightly glossy? You got any pictures of it on?

the tape works a treat had it on mine for about 2 years no fade at all

only thing is nobody sells it anymore!!! sorry

Halfords have ample stock of it!

The trick to stop it creasing in the corners is a hairdyer guys, heat it up then bend it round, mine hasnt faded at all and painting the line is a waste of time, honestly tape is the future from halfords lol!

I think thats just slipped in the gap? Looks like what that lad had on his black polo gti at the polo show. I'd probably go for some of that if not buy some of this red tape at halfords. I'd be useless at doing it though. I cant even put a sticker on straight haha

Thanks guys, always wondered which is best.

Fits in the gap, but I glued it on the grille to make sure it stayed in place.

Yep, then used a hot glue gun to glue the beading to the grille.

I was on about sticking tape to the beading mate.

Ha ah writ, i doubt that would work out well!

Might creep back after a while!
