The cams as such dont move....its the oil pressure that changes and it diverts high pressure oil into different channels which affects the valve timing

More than happy with that, looks like there will be a phonecall to book it in for when they are next availavle lol, and cheers for the info people!

They need a 50% deposit first and you need to allow around 7-10 days for them to arrive from Germany.
Give them a shout though if its something you want to get done
I'm still undecided whether I will be keeping mine so I havent gone for them yet

Yea I don't mind a deposit, get it back anyway.... How come your undecided about the car?

Ive had mine over 2 years now and I keep getting tempted by its bigger brother (9N3 GTI

)
I much prefer the look of the 6N2 put unfortunately with it being such a rare car the tuning capabilities are very limited on my kind of budget and the 1.8T 20V 9N3 has soo much potential in comparison.
In an ideal world I would like to get the 1.8T lump dropped in my GTI but I cant justify spending the 7-8k getting it done
