The problem with the manual is that it covers all possible car specifications and finding which applies to your car is confusing to say the least.

e.g. the 3 symbols in the bottom right refer to rear seat belts as mentioned above and mentioned on page 42, yet are not referred to in "Symbols in the instrument cluster" page 14?
There isn't nothing to fix. When it's with the slashes is deactivated, if you put a value it gives an alert when the car reaches that speed.
If you don't want to see that option, it can be disabled in the car menu in the infotainment.

Yes I did know that thanks, and when I have a registration number I'll do it for sure.
Or do what I did and do a search online for the same model car showing a number plate. There’s likely to be some on this forum, Autotrader or similar. Once you have one key it in to download the manual. As I waited 13 months for my delivery I had ample time to read it :)

Plenty of nearly new Polos with registration numbers in the used car section on VW’s website. You could use one of those.
