iichel I see 2 buttons in your electric tail gate switch. How they work?

One is the normal close button and the other is the easy close function. It works in conjunction with the sensor in the rear bumper for the kick-to-open function.

It's been a while since I wrote about my Passats updates, I have one today: The OEM 1T0065400 coolbox that holds +- 25 litres.

How is the cooling effect? I saw one similar at my dealer for around 200€. In my T-roc there is no 12V socket in boot, I need to install one.

I'll let you know after the weekend. It's a 35-ish watt Peltier element solution so I'm not expecting miracles.

- Bought some parts for the passenger side mirror to dim (glass 3G0857522B + wires)
- Bought a sun visor without airbag writing (3G0857552)
- Bought two fire extinguishers with mounting brackets for below the seats (000016995, 3C8881286, 000016997, N90812302, N10632102)
- Bought two bandaid kits for Passat an Polo (000093114)
- Installed the new 5NB gear lever with a manual boot (5NB713203K, 3G1711113G)
- Installed new style rear logo (5H0898633)
- My trusty Skoda washer bottle cap 6V0955449 6V0955485 is back

I think the part number for the Skoda washer bottle cap should be 6V0955485.
The one you posted (6V0955449) is for the whole reservoir.

Diverter valve upgrade from 06H145710C (=OEM) to 06H145710D. Revision D is said to hold the pressure a bit better at high boost.
This is the Pierburg 7.01830.13.0, same part but no VW sticker, saves about 30 euros.

I now have the massage function in the Passat's passenger seat, just like I have on the Polo 6R.
It's a matter of changing the backrest adjustment package to a version with position sensors.
Then install the 3AA module, the button, the 3-pin lumbar adjustment button and wire it all up.

wiring, you can take power from the original T6 plug for the old lumbar adjustment. it's red/black (+30) and brown (GND)
I've installed like RHD, because it's virtually a RHD driver seat.

In preparation for the 360 degree Area / overhead view camera installation, I've modified the support for the Dynaudio amplifier below left seat, to fit below the right seat.

I'll install the module using tie-wraps to the frame. This way it's nicely covered and looks a lot better than the OEM foam!
