They will eventually. Now that HL2 has been released and unlocked and everything, and the SDK kit is out, it can't be long before a Steam update to bring in all the old maps and the other CT/T skins.

i actually dont miss the choice of skins on cts and t's

the ct skin is too dark and they can hide in dark areas a bit to easy

but having everyone look the same on each team makes picking out enemies easier (good in friendly fire servers)

Going back to HL2 tho - the physics are great! Below is the result of lobbing a grenade into a room occupied by a couple of combine. Wandered in to find this had happened:

Because Im totally confused with it.

I just arrive at the train station and instantly start running. How did we get to that stage? What are the combine? Why have the aliens integrated with human society?

Im lost and confused

its like a police state where they, the combine, have taken over and placed a puppet human goverment in control

use lambert or whitewalls then :p, yeah i know what you mean, my brightness is turned right up for it, and all graphics settings lowered so i get good framerate and ping

i run it on a 20" (random size i know) monitor I picked up cheap from some office gone bust sale thing a bit a go, at 1024x768 on a 128meg 5700 card (2 gig processor and 512mb ram - this isnt pc spec boasting, i'm not thar geeky)

point is

it runs fine with the auto matic settings

but aztecs rain and water can chug me, so i've turned everything to low

i used to do that on regular cs with the gfx card tho, game still looks nice, runs fast and smooth

advantage of 1024x768 on a 20" monitor is heads are huge on my screen, so head shots are well easy lol
