You lot are nutters!

When I had a 9n courtesy car I found the 3-blink to be a major pain in the arse!

Are you doing it just cos it's there to be done??

Nutters!

Well, I'm genuinely doing it because I do seem to get on with the function, it fits in perfectly with my lazy personality!

kliis
On your Spanish Polo how many wipes does the rear wiper do when you are reversing?
My rear wiper only does one wipe if the front wipers are on - one wipe only is almost useless.
Thanks

It's the same number of wipes for the UK model. I've always found this more than inadequate but I've heard when it rains in Spain it REALLY rains (could be wrong saying that though :? )

Yes, only one wipe. For me it is enough, but I find strange that it only works when you have the rear wiper deactivated. I mean, If i have the rear wiper activated, when I reverse, the wiper doesn't wipe (I hope you understand me :) )

I also have the rain sensor and I wish there was a rear rain sensor too! I am so lazy!

LOL @ you guys...

I've just had it deactivated on my new Ibiza! The stupid indicators and stupid autolocking got on my nerves on the test drive so I called today to ensure they're both off the car when I pick it up!

Ofcourse we have different opinions. I find the Autolock very useful, specially when driving in Barcelona, not having to worry if the doors are locked when you see "strange" people near de car in a traffic light.

The 3 blink indicators are just for commodity, absolutely not necessary but nice. Just like the thing that resets the blinker lever when you turn the steering wheel in the center, after a corner (hope you understand me, sorry for my english  )

Anyway, I love this kind of "gadgeds" and I understand some others don't like it that much!

I found autolock a pain. I can see people really tugging on my door handle when it doesn't work first time, and my mates getting p***ed off when the boot doesn't open. If I see anyone dodgy, I press the button automatically, like I used to press the door pin down when I had my MK2 Polo.

3 blink indicators will get on my nerves when I can't turn them off. I had them on an Ibiza loan car once and I was glad to get rid of the car, solely becaus the indicators got on my nerves!

I understand people like them...they aren't bad feautures but they get in the way of basic things!

By the way, your English is fine :)

The car automatically locks itself at about 10 mph. When you remove the ignition key at the end of a trip the car unlocks itself. All the usual locking procedures work as normal.
I find it very useful and reassuring, especially when my wife is driving alone. Other members have very mixed views about this.
Your friendly dealer has to program the system - some dealers deny that it can be done (i.e. they can't be bothered looking up the codes).

I ALWAYS lock my car as soon as I get in now anyway - so Autolock would just save me doing it.

I can see 3 blink getting on my nerves but I'm gonna try it and see how I get on
