o and another thing, i don't supose you no the part numbers for thos do ya? i doubt i'll need them but just in case!

put a post in the vag forum and mill post all the part numbers and quote you on them

i jus thought i'd try n see where the wiring is for the fogs but i cant seem 2 find any wires where abouts are they normally? please help guys x

awesome! This is defo getting used!!!! What switch are we talking about here, does the lower spec models not come with a switch to activate the fogs??

Hey Phil, the switch on the lower spec models only activate the rear fog light. You need the switch that does the front ones, like This.

Also, if you're fitting fogs, you may need to extend the wiring for the fogs. The wiring for the drivers side fog light was too short, so I had to splice some wire (fortunately provided by VagParts in my fog kit ) onto the previous wiring and also you may need to stick a new plug on the end.

Yeah, they're just plain ordinary washers. The little plastic clip-in nuts are essential though. I just got the lot from VW:

Screws N 013 9671 x6
Washers N 011 6644 x6
Plastic Nuts N 905 353 01 x6

Does anyone know if this the same for 6n's???

No 6n foglights are completely different. I'd say there must be few threads on here about fitting them tho

I know the lights are completey different, I meant is the wiring the same?
