So i fitted my huge BMC today (wrong size) was a bit of a struggle to find somehwere to put it, but my does it make a difference! it really does start to roar after 2.5k rpm and the car is hell of a lot more responsive! very pleased with it! next step is to paint parts of the engine!

Haha i love it, i tried it before i fitted the cold air feed, it sounded like a beast! but would be a bit pointless without the feed. its amazing how much my throttle response has sharpened up.

The green grill trim looks cool! Where did you get that from then, or was it a DIY thing?

Yeh just a bit of DIY  masked the edges of the honeycomb and had plenty of green paint from the calipers left over

yeh dude i think the 1.0 8v has 50hp and the 1.4 8v has 60hp, maybe more of a torque gain , not sure :? . as far as i know the 1.4 8v is the same as the 1.0 but bored out

You need to try and get a bracket mounted to the strap to stop it vibrating

Also you must put a one way (towards engine) valve on the pipe coming out of the rocker cover that currently is just coiled up or you will lose a good amount of oil. You can snap the one of the factory airbox and join it in with something suitable that will fit the pipe from the engine to resolve it, or get a one way valve like i have listed below

http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=non+ ... m270.l1313 one of those with the right diameter will do
