oh my god, its awesome...if i had a gti thats what i would be heading towards....ideal gti in my eyes!!! just cant afford insurance

yeah scott sold it awhile back, i was so wanting it but funds were dry

and i wanted GTI seats and doorcards instead

There was a carbon bonnet for a 6n2 on eBay last week. I was tempted but I can't justify the cost at the moment, plus I'd have to paint it anyway as a carbon bonnet on a black car doesn't look quite right IMHO. Would have left the underside bare though to show off the weave

Yeah they would look quality, im not sure, they could look ok un-painted on a black car...
How much did it sell for Si, do you know?

yeah sold it long time ago, might see it on a nice show car this year if the guy has actually carired on the project he had planned...
no point in painting mate as the underside is covered by a matt filler/ fibreglass casting of the original and theres probably only 1/2 kg weight saving, not as much as you'd think unless you pay big bucks!!
