I cant see why not, It would be crazy to change the dimensions of the chassis, so i'm gonna say yes they'll fit other models.

Tigz where did you get your manifold from if you don't mind me asking and is it on specificly for the GTi or have you used the 16V one?

I did a group but on them a few month ago.
One lad who bought one had it but sold his car so he sold the manifold on.
The buyer wanted some lowering springs fitted so I did a deal for my time in the rain lol

Its from a 6N2 1.4 16v.
Doesn't fit straight on but its better than spending £600 on a super sprint!

Tigz....you reckon the actually GTI spec raceland manifold will be slightly simpler to fit? Sounds like you had a right bastard of a time fitting it!!! Cannot be arsed with so much hassle!! :x

As far as I know there is not one for the GTI.
The ones I have seen advertised as a GTI one is the same as I have.

According to my contact at Raceland there are only 2 that they make one for the polo....one that was designed to fit the (6N) 1.4 16v and one that was designed to fit the (6N) 8v models ( 1.0i, 1.3i, 1.4i, 1.6i).

The supersprint one was made for the 6N GTi not the 6N2 GTi, not sure if the port spacing is different. has anyone fitted one? They are out of standard production now but I could probably get a batch made at £360 per manifold if I got over 30 orders in a group buy

Don't they go on ebay for less than half of that?

Phil,

Where did you get your raceland?

I'm guessing the supersprint would be better than the raceland knowing their reputation

Yeah i was talking bout the supersprints... I think I'm about £20 cheaper than ebay on the Racelands with the total price inc delivery

Is there a good system that complements the Raceland/Supersprint manifold. Heard powerflow are rubbish and I'm mainly after something that will get me the most power with a CAT, but not too noisy

for the 6N GTi supersprint make a center pipe with a cat and you can also get a Group N backbox partially made from carbon fiber. So if it fits the 6N2 I'll eventually go for those on mine with the supersprint mani.. Should get some pretty good power with that setup :P
