Tail lights are different, rightfully our taillights are universal, if you plugged them in to a car which is l/h/d it'd just make the opposite fog light come on because of the way the car is wired, hence some ppl have wired up their fogs so both come on.

The head lights how ever are a different case. The light from your head lights is actually angled just so slightly that it shines towards the gutter therefore not blinding people coming in the opposite direction, where if you have l/h/d lights in the UK the light would shine in to the direction of on coming traffic. It's all just a matter really of it probably not passing the MOT depends how carefully they check your car. I've heard rumours of people getting away with it just by sticking those light deflector stickers (or what ever they are) to their head lights. Or if you want to go to great lengths just swap head lights around for MOT's.

And incase people want to try searching further, i beleive the angel eye headlights are made by FK.

That's why I recommend the BMW 3-series E46 projectors. These projectors have a switch build in which alters the beam either to the right or to the left. That's because of BMW also selling cars to RHD-countries.

Im pretty certain that when the POLO GTi comes out... it will have projected xenons.

They had it on the 6N2, wouldnt make much sense if they didnt put it on the 9N!

Im still getting my friend to phone around Turkey asking for these headlights. Because if you search for that HEADLIGHT CLUSTER in polo9n.com, the info does state the car is in Turkey.

If successful, I may be able to get the manufacturer and then we can all do our group buys!!

I think attempting to do a DIY job would be tricky. Especially you have to keep testing the refraction of the light.

And fitting the mechanism for the levelling system, it really is a job for the experts.

Yet again bring on the GTI.

Yeah, bring on the GTi, I know people from VW are reading this so get on with it please, just stick a nice juicy 1.8T 180BHP in a Polo, upgrade the brakes, clutch, gear box, drive train and ect. It really isn't that hard, you have the engine, you have the chassis just get on with it, you have the whole forum waiting. And please no "spy pictures to create more interest becuase you alreadu have it!!!

This is how my car looks with xenon HID's. This has to be changed with the projectors to a full OEM-look.

Hehehe YEAH and fast ! Uhm... well, than I would be stuck with a pair of headlights costing me 130 euro each.

5200 kelvin is the maximum, that's my personal opinion. 8000 kelvin HID's are way to blue and very irritating for other drivers. If (in future) aftermarket xenon would be criticized by the gouvernment it's likely due to these 8000 k xenons. Also the "cheap" universal sets that are sold are definately not done.

8000 k HID's light-output is lesser than a 4100 k set. So it's pure an optical reason to put 8000 k in your headlights.

Don't they fit 8000-9000k to Mercs BMW's etc?
