Cheers for the info Tim, I will do a bit of shopping over the autumn/winter season!
Got some new wheels lined up, possibly (depending on me freeing up the cash)... but not the sort to run when winter is approaching, so it looks like they won't go on the car for 4 or 5 months. 15", 6.5J fronts, 8J rears,
not splitties, might need the rear arches rolled and/or slightly flared to accommodate the extra width!

That's quite a staggered stance! What's the ET on them Si?

No info on the ET yet. Trial fitting the 8J rears some time in the next couple of weeks to see if they are going to scrub or not. Will get some info on the ET then! I think it might be ET30 though...

If they are ET30 you'll be fine, just make sure to run 185/45s. They make sooo much difference in comparison to 195/45s.

Need to make a decision on the tint for the foglights. Contacted the seller on eBay for the item I'm interested in and he has sent me two pics, which I have resized and posted below:

The top image is what they call "Euro tint" and is a mixture of two individual variants of yellow tint. On the bottom is variant 2 (there are a total of 6 variants), which is a bit lighter effect. I'm leaning towards the "Euro tint" at the mo...
The tint itself is applied as a film, so no spraying or messing about, just cut to size and apply. The kit is designed to cover an average-sized pair of head- or tail-lights so I will have a lot left over! I reckon it would do three or four pairs of foglights, so if the final effect is any good I could offer the remaining kit to another member
What do you reckon?

Yeah I think it will look good! I'd even try messing with the headlights as well, you never know it could look really good, always reminds me of that old school Ferrari with yellow headlights

Differences are very subtle. I thought it was the same picture at first!
I'd go for the Euros also, you just doing your fogs?

Yep, just doing the fogs I think. Will see how it looks and post some pics! The aforementioned new rims are now available to trial-fit so should be able to do that this weekend, fingers crossed. I'm going to do whatever it needs to get them on and not scrubbing

probably just needs the arches rolled to be fair!

Sweet. If they're 8J ET30 put some 185/45s on them and you'll be fine mate.
Mine are 15X8 ET 25 with 185s and I only get light scrubbing if taking it hard on corners or hit big pot holes

Foglights refitted:
Cleaned the foglights to remove any surface dirt etc:
Applied tint film and, after stretching slightly to achieve a flush fit with no bubbles or creases, trimmed the excess away (leaving 5-10mm overlap):
Refitted foglights!
Just need to wash the car now!!
The light output is completely unchanged due to the "mesh" design of the film, which allows light to pass through the tint film unaffected.
What do you think?

Looks good close up, not too sure on the overall look simply because it just looks like they are a bit grotty and need a clean lol. But on the whole I think its alright, the film is very bug eye style isn't it!

Wheels!!!
Need to raise the rear a few millimetres and roll the rear arches as predicted because they catch at the moment and are gouging the tyres quite badly! G60s back on again now. Will get the fronts rolled at the same time as the rears. How much extra clearance do you think rolled arches will give me?

What width tyres and ET are they mate?
Changing the tyres will make a massive difference, and save you a lot of cost
