Some Merc wheel trims, just for a laugh. Dead cheap at £20 off eBay and a bit of fun. Still looking for some "proper" rims before Edition.

Sale plans have gone off the boil because I'm just enjoying the car too much at the moment. Every time I have parked it somewhere and am walking back to it, I just can't help but love the way it looks

Might have to do something with the interior...

Weyyyy, just like Tomo you can't sell 'cos basically fact is that the Polo GTi is an awesome car 8)

Liking the wheel trims, suit it well. Pics could do with being a bit bigger though, Si.

No doubt I'll miss mine when it's gone. Just now I'm pissed off with it as it's cost me a lot of money this year (over £1400 and counting!) :(

Mine is behaving itself so far *touch wood*

I had the 100,000 mile service last week at a local VW dealership, complete with new spark plugs, and its never run smoother. Loving it at the moment! Get some amusing looks with the trims on

I'm wanting to pick up some Colour Concept Recaro seats and get those installed as the next major mod. £300-400 though and I will want to get them retrimmed! Maybe I need to speak to tomo87!

No real news as such. But I did buy Haris' genuine black front and rear VW badges to give me some easily-changed options to play with. "No more nails" double-sided tape is the business for swapping rear badges over in a flash!

Thinking about interior upgrades. Do I stick with the standard seats which, truthfully, are comfy and not too bad looking, or do I wait even longer than I already have (bloody ages) to find a pair of Recaro front seats for retrimming? I really would like Recaro (Colour Concept) seats but they're either too expensive or too far away.

I'm thinking, black Audi nappa leather for seats rear bench and doorcards, and a set of the red seat belts that some of the GTi's came with (if I can still get them).

Your thoughts, as always, are welcomed :D

Cheers

Been done quite a few times (me being one of them lol) But some TT seats?
Or some from a boxster, perfect width to fit the polo, supportive, bit of luxury, only thing is having to get subframes made up!

Or u could remove the ones from ur original seats and have them welded to the subframes on ur new seats, u may be lucky and they might line up ok,

Might be worth a post asking who has seats in there cars from different cars?

Maybe some half leather with Interlagos cloth like the mk5 Golf Edition30...

if I do a search there is indeed lots of info and pics on seat options and what others have fitted.

Its all on hold for a bit longer but I have an eye on eBay and the forums for seats. In the meantime, the reason for putting it on hold is that I saw haris today and bought some ICE off him from his green mk5 that he's returning to standard
