Would give the newly painted lower parts a good coating of wax for protection, if you haven't already done so

so the grill section isn't worth painting, and personally i don't really like it when the whole front is painted. i think it looks a lot better when there is a balance of black and the body color, but that's just mesbp wrote:the lower grill is going to be painted balck again (or replaced with a non painted one) because the paint wont stick that good

that's true, the plastic should be treated professionally before any major painting job, but the guy at the bodyshop told me too that the lower grill itself won't hold the paint no matter how much you sand it, primer it and spray it. at least there would be a color mismatch. i didn't ask any further because i didn't want it to be painted anyway, you might want to ask around some bodyshops or PM sbp when you will be painting yoursn3oNx wrote: It's an opinionBut as far as the paint came off, if the plastic is well prepared the paint will come off as much as on the body strips.
