your 6n2 is turning out awesomely mate ;) great work. just one question, you removed the engine cover to polish it and spray it no? did you have to replace the gasket?

Havent posted for a while, not too much has been done to be honest, just little touches here and there

finally got 20mm spacers int he front, and 165/50s, its rubbing like crazy on fast corners, but after i get the arches rolled, i will need 25mm spacers for the front
Image

next, i saw 'cornishdrummer' had a nice set of gaiters made, so i got some done with green stitching, cant see too well in the pic, but they look good in the flesh
Image

also got white LED strips in the footwells and a LED interior dome light, will get a pic up soon

heres a rear end shot in Chris' (lowfoon) garage when he fitted the footwells
Image

and just a pic to see how it looks against other cars on the road

this pic has made me realise, i really do need a bigger car, im quite a big guy, and my car is tiny lol. so i may be on the lookout for a mk2 gti or a Bora :p

You have done one hell of a job transforming this car in a relatively short space of time, fair play it looks top class.

What car do you have in mind as your next project?

well iv been looking at a 1.8T Bora which will get the whole air ride treatment eventually :p
or a mk2 gti 8v. but when it comes to the mk2, im gonna be very picky ( has to have big bumpers, has to be either Oak Green or BBM, mileage, condition etc) so i might end up waiting ages to find my perfect one.
bora is most likely...I really want full electrics lol

Bora's can be made to look amazing with the right styling, they are also extremely well priced when compared to Golf's & Passats.

If you do go for the 1.8T then I would go for the 180bhp model rather than the 150bhp.
Its got a higher spec all round and cost more or less the same to buy.

MK2 Golf would also be sweet :) although 16V would be better than 8 8)
