I have finally got the Pioneer AVH-3300BT head unit after waiting a good couple of weeks for it to be delivered (Always seem to find the people who take years to send stuff out )

It was fitted within half an hour, might move the microphone to a different location though, i opted for the easy run and mounted it just behind the steering wheel but the sticky pad wouldnt stick very well cause of the dash shine we use to clean it.

Also just waiting for the iPhone lead for it which my mate is getting for me (Cheaper than anywhere else).

Loving the head unit already, so many little features on it

Had the polo MOT'd on Saturday, just got one advisory for a chip in the windscreen (The same advisory i have been getting for the last three years )

Finally managed to get some photos of the new head unit, I am totally in love with this stereo, it is pure amazing for the money it costs, the leads out the front are a pain in the backside but a small price to pay for what the head unit does.

Moved the microphone to the top pillar on the drivers side, was just being lazy when i first installed it.

Just need to get a phone holder as my phone slides all over the front seat, hopefully Trotta can sort me out with this one.

For the money, its spot on, you can get them for just under £300 on ebay at the moment.

I well can't get my head unit to display all that lol, what lead u got?

The pioneer one???

Its not a genuine pioneer one but a copycat version, cost me £20 through my auto electrician mate.

The lead you need to get has to have a 3.5mm 4 way plug on it, the fourth way on the plug controls the video. It should have three black bands on the actual plug.

Even with the proper lead though, you will only be able to get youtube or ipod videos on the screen unless your phone is jailbroken and you download some new packages through cydia.

Any joy with that phone holder yet dude ?

Jail-breaking iphones is easy as, it's harder to brick it now than it is to do it successfully, I've been at it for years lol you need any advice on it just give us a shout.
