It is not the same pin assignment for all 6R models, that's why you should use the multimeter to locate the pins for your front passenger door contact switch.
Yes. Exactly. I think the diagram that i have also not from South Africa. I will try with multimeter soon. But interestingly, i wonder how i have the Safelock function while the Pin7 is not connected to bcm? any idea?

Yes, if both steering wheels are exactly the same. The buttons can be replaced.
No, if the new steering wheel is a Sport model. The shape of the buttons is different.

Pics?

The buttons can be exchanged.

For example, look at the images of these buttons: http://www.cars-equipment.com/www/en/sh ... [68237]/1/

All you have to do is remove the trim with one or several plastic tools, then change the buttons, three screws on each side.
Or change the whole set. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/aJ0AAOSw ... -l1600.jpg

I know, that's why I show you the buttons that meet all the conditions requested by sharan1988.

Which would fit perfectly in your steering wheel.

You can, but maybe they don't have tiptronic function.

Recommendation: Buy a steering wheel from 6C, Amarok 2018 or T6 2015-2018 for lighting in red, tiptronic and leather.
