I've got
1)ECU remap (2nd stage)
2)BMC CDA
3)Schrick Camshafts
4)Exhaust
5)Removed intake silencer
With all the above i reached 127 BHP at the wheels which should be about 150 flywheel...Now that was some time ago,did some more after that and scheduled for a remap and rolling road this week.
Now you tell me what HP a simple remap is gonna give to the car, and HOW on earth ANYONEcan have 135 BHP WITHOUT at least a remap...

Steady mate lol
I am currently running 153bhp at the fly and about 130 @ the wheel's!
running:-
schrick cam's
no cat's
bmc
polish and port (done after the roller's)
i havn't had any kind of remap either so i would be hoping for around the 165bhp mark. i think that that is a resonable estimate tbh.

Tbh, i always take people's claimed BHP rating with a pinch of salt unless they have a dyno sheet scanned in. People always lie or "enhance" the truth... i know one thing, every polo gti on this forum is faster then my 1.4 so welldone

.
One of the many reasons why ill be buying one, or a lupo

Well your numbers seem to be on the track.
No cat is about 5-7 BHP plus and P&P should be around 5 BHP more.
I don't think you'll hit the 165 BHP spot, i think you should be looking around the 160 point.
I'm looking forward to a full catback exhaust+race cat, upgraded manifold which should get me to the 160 mark also.
Do post a dyno sheet if you can.I'm really curious.I already have mine posted here.Just look for the post...
Cheers.

Guys - healthy disccussion is fine
- Being rude or abusive isn't
I don't like locking threads especially when one as relevant as this one to GTi owners wanting a re-map
Calm it down
In case people don't realise it Dyno's are affected by Atmos pressure and engine output is affected by air temperature
Thats why my LC produced 418 bhp on one dyno having produced 385 on another one the year before with no modifications between them.
The only time dyno results are relevant is when two cars are run on the same dyno on the same day one after another then the difference between them is relevant.
ie the rolling road session I did with the other club I'm in
All cars run on the same day
Blown (STD LC/LO 377bhp)
AW Lotus Omega (on NOS) - 436.5 bhp
JE Lotus Carlton - 420.5 bhp
RB Lotus Carlton - 413.0 bhp

Right I've deleted/edited comments from this thread. UK-Polos won't tolerate racial abuse of any nature. Also, if any of you want to argue about things, take it to email or MSN - keep it off here.
If any of you have a problem with that, PM me.

So you are not stock. The BMC CDA alone is quoted to give ~8 HP by BMC, and i'll give ya like another 2 BHP for the exhaust.
So according to that...You just have a regular Gti with 124 STOCK
Good for you.Hope you get a good increase with the remap.
P.S.Too bad you comments were erased before i had the time to read them. That would have been a laugh..
