thanks for the reply, i have taken the side panel off and can’t for the life of me figure out how to get behind the relays to remove the wire. do i have to remove some of the dash to get in there because i can barely fit my hand behind it

one solution would be to take out the BCM and push out the relay carrier (the small square holding the relay.
another option would be to take the grey wire at the other end, and route it to the light switch from there.
the other end is located on the steering column combination switch, in one of the vertical contacts.

so i can use the same wire? if i take it out at the end it meets the steering column and reinstall it into my headlight switch?

yes, just make sure to remove it from the steering column switch

how exactly do i access behind the switch/steering wheel? sorry for all the questions i just want these headlights to work

you need to disassemble the entire steering column (steering wheel, stalks, covers)

in ciclo’s diagram it shows the grey wire going from stalks (1.5) to the relay, on the new wire it is 0.5 does that make any difference?

No oversizing wires is fine.

how do i remove the wire from the stalks? do i need a special tool or can i just yank it out?

For this one time I'll allow a u-bent paperclip to push down the retaining clips. Big ideally a laser terminal tool.

does the whole steering wheel need to come off to get to behind the stalks or is it possible to do it by just removing the colum cover

the wheel is off and the steering columns are off, how do i get the wiper stalk off the wheel?

it’s the slip ring i’m struggling to remove
