I think they would look great on a red or silver GTI but I dont think they work too well on a Black 6N2.
They certainly dont look bad, its just I think I prefer the OEM lights

Thinking about going a bit more Jap style on it over the winter, for sh
its and giggles...
Amber side repeaters and sling the Fox multispokes on (which, if you recall from my previous posts, are painted in a Subaru colour).
It'd look different!

Central locking pump failed on me a few days ago so after getting fed up of climbing through the boot (I've delocked my door handles) I popped a new one in thanks to joe2612
Originally thought that the old one had gotten wet or sat in condensation BUT after removing the power plug and having a good look at the contact on the old pump, the pins have a sort of greeny-coloured residue on them which would suggest some form of corrosion over time? Also, the replacement pump sounds a lot healthier and "faster" when in action. My old one made a longer sort of "groaning" noise when in operation!
Anyway. All good. Quick phone pic from yesterday, got my amber side repeaters on!

You need some orange front indicators now as opposed to clear. It would bring the rear lights/side repeaters/fogs look all together. Really not a fan of the JDM lights but with the rest tied in they look ok......ish !
Jap spec. surely means you need a bean can exhaust and lexus lights though?

Jap spec just has a smaller numberplate recess so you can have a square or shorter plate mounted. Makes the rear look fatter

Alex, yes the euro foglights have now been reversed back to original. I felt that with the rear lights, side repeaters and potentially front side repeaters being retro/poverty/jap spec it is a bit too much!
Anyone got any ideas on where I might find some original orange front side repeaters? I am pretty certain though, that they are not available as OEM parts from VW because all 6N2s came with clear units.
Cheers for the comments everyone!

Perhaps orange tinting spray then

I dont beleive they did - maybe a similar model may provide something useable.

What Size tyres do you have on the G60 steels Si???
I am purchasing some G60 wheels next week but im not too sure what people recommend for the tyre size.
I have got a set of 4 Yokohoma 195/45/R15 tyres that I think are suitable and as I noticed you were rolling on G60's so I thought I would ask the Question
Ben,

Most people roll 195/45/15s on G60s as its the best for the rim. I think si's are that but cant 100% remember.
