Big Red - Wiper error *stuck on*

bit of good news... big red is going in the garage on tuesday to be restored to her former smoothed and red glory

list of fixes and mods being done:

bonnet sprayed red again... yesssssssss
bumper crack filled and bump strip smoothed
bumper strip sprayed red again
wing repaired and resprayed red
grill sprayed gloss black
badge which i have already split in two parts the rear of it to be sprayed red the front vw face to be sprayed gloss black
all lower grills to be sprayed gloss black
and front splitter to be sprayed gloss black
interior heater surround to be sprayed gloss black
and its going to be taken looooowwwweeeerrrrr !

i might get a little nick on my rear bumper done too, and im going to ask how much extra it would be to spray my outer AB pillars gloss black .

should get it back thursday night but even i thought thats a bit optimistic so im not going to hold my breath for that one lol

not posting any pics lol, im not happy with the result at all, yeah she is all red again but the guy didnt smooth the bumper like he said so ive got a smooth rear and a bump strip on the front and it looks s*** there is some orange peel effect on it,and like with my splitter he didnt sand down the scratches or sand the texurised think on the bump strip its afull, gonna complain monday i think, and i still have my s**t horrible silver things the only bit im happy with is the front grills and the badge it turned out pretty good. and the bonnet still needs polishing !

Grill looks cool mate

It's nice to see someone using the original grille too rather than opting for the GTI grille.

Cheers mate I've never really been one for replicas it's not a gti or a tdi so I'm not going to make it look like one, and personally I prefer the slat grill, I broke my old slat grille and it took me ages to find a replacement one. I will post full pics of it poss at the weekend... It's not as bad as I made out I was just a bit annoyed at the time. But I need black indicators and to fix the problem I'm having with my angel eye sidelights too (if you haven't read it one side keep creating a short circuit). But except rims I think I'm almost through with major mods just minor touches now... Think I just heard my bank card cheer lol

right the problem i had with the led sidelights is now solved only took 30 mins and some very numb hands !

i will upload some pics of big red and her new look a bit later on just need to find my mums camera... (i only have an iphone and it makes my car look orange )

ahh that no i wish it was...its where my rear bumper is smoothed and someone has knocked the filler off while i was parked up unfortunatly i wasnt there to make tham pay for it !

gutted whats the future plans and whats the new wheels going to be

new mods will be black led side repeators, black indicators, window tint's... new rims have something pretty original for the 6n2 planned. maybe a stubby drivers side mirror then sprayed gloss black to match the other and the roof, resmooth the front bumper (really wish id never crashed !) fix the dink in my rear bumper,

then the interior mods begin maybe mk 3 golf recaro colour concepts (red/black) seats. black roof lining (need to get around the sunroof though)

... then im not sure i think she is almost done then !
