Well I didn't know anybody made an armrest lifter, I made my own by bending a strip if flat steel and painting it black.Teee wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2020 6:52 pm

Aght to sell them. I'm sure the'll be less of a rip off then £15 for a milled piece of plastic that Diversion stores sell.POLO Clive wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 9:20 amWell I didn't know anybody made an armrest lifter, I made my own by bending a strip if flat steel and painting it black.Teee wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2020 6:52 pm

Good job mate, I started with something similar before moving on to my latest design, I couldn't lean on the armrest with any weight without it flexing and thinking something was going to break.Dark_cze wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 6:31 pm Made this in like a year ago and it is hiddenAfter 20 000 km still works perfectly fine

Good job, I like it and looks better than previous onePOLO Clive wrote: Sun May 03, 2020 9:52 am After seeing these latest armrest raiser posts I decided to have another look at this, and I've now come up with my final, and by far the simplest version of this necessary modification. It's simply a piece of wood stuck to the inside of the armrest box with double-sided tape, the piece of wood rests nicely on a ledge on the inside of the box, and as a test I'm able lean on the armrest with much more weight than I need to without any problems.
