Not too sure on the colour myself, but the workmanship looks spot on mate.

I actually like the Creamy colour which I'm guessing is the primer 8)

Looks good so far. I'm sure the colour will look spot on once all the other mods are complete. I hope it does, just to prove everyone wrong who says they don't like the colour.

You have to try new things to be different.

Well done so far. Keep up the good work!

ok maybe i'm on something but i have to say im loving the colour! :) the nimbus grey looks great on the TT's, pastel colours big on the eurodub scene at the mo! u'kno i even liked the grey primer colour, its similar to a colour i would possibly respray my car... that or a BMW M3 metallic grey! don't worry mate, u got a thumbs up from me... i reckon with the strips and seams removed, the car is gonna look smoooooooth!! 8) by the way it good to see you used the two-pack primer (creamy colour), get a much better finish then you would with the grey primer..

Sorry for the reply in delay guys, my bloody router's packed up (if ayones selling one please pm me)

Thanks for the comments. The sideskirts are apparantly ibiza cupra ones, but they look nothing like them if you ask me. I went to the seat dealership to buy some leon cupra R ones but the guy had these kicking round and only wanted £30 for em. There made by ms design so proper good quality.

The colour (if you can call it that) is rather a strange one, it has a massive pearl in it. In direct sunlight looks very light almost primer colour. In darker light it goes a nice darker shade (as can be seen in some of the pics) and in complete darkness looks blue. It has both blue and violet pearls in it.

Tom, i really like the beige primer colour too. If i hadn't already bought the paint i'd have been tempted to just prime and laquer!

The whole car needs a flat back and polish, most of the panels have come out really well, the bonnet isnt too good but should buff up fine, as is one of the rear quarters.

Anyway, some pics......

Looks good. I think I prefer the Cream Primer colour though. When re-spraying do you do inside the doors sills and under the bonet all the little nooks and crannies.

One thing you need to do though is change the wheels 8)

fair play for having a bash at something a bit different. In all honesty i dont like the colour, but thats just personal preference. Looks like a neat and tidy job though. Good skills.
