Its got to be the white nova where i live. Its got a stupid body kit and sploiler on it !!..
All it needs is some need for speed style stickers under the wing mirrors about the parts hes got and the stuff he used... A good list would be.
Air Fix
Poly cement
Humbrol
Scarelectric

Honda Accord with huge halfords bolt on spoiler, Type-R stencils all over it. (Even tho it is clearly not), 2 huge Jap-style exhausts, and crap 18" alloys. Oh and not to mention about 500m squared of mesh.

I saw an absolute cracker the other day, it was a white 1.0 Nova, tinted side windows with "want your number 118.....no not your's love" scrawled in what looked like tip ex on it. Had steel wheels but a huge tailpipe that looked like my little sister had put it on, about as straight as Boy George, there was something else but i've forgot, oh well.

About as straight as boy george
Love it
Huzzah for the return of the ricer thread!
I've got a couple 'new' ones i've been waiting for a chance to share..
(including a horrific, outsized bodykit on a VW - couldn't any longer tell whether it was polo or golf, but fairly recent - seen in maccy D's car park. they saw me looking too and started to get mad O_O)

Couple updates while i'm "here"....
The harlequin-style escort that was outside halfords? It's had a spray-up, looks alright in metallic-ish scooby blue.... but the hatch is the wrong shade!
The MG Metro round the corner doesn't appear to have moved and inch in three months. I'm going to get some chalk and make small marks on the tyres and the tarmac just to be sure. Perhaps he spent so much on dodgy mods that he can't afford tax (in which case it should be on the driveway not the road!), insurance, petrol... or the engine's just bust.
I like that Renault 5, unusual choice for farting-up! Wonder whats next? (Gonna get one of those flags, but bleach the material and draw my own choice of stuff on it. Maybe just a union jack, maybe a 12-star euro flag... perhaps something totally different. I think a deutschland drei-kolor would be fitting! hehehe)
(as someone more wise than me said - i'm english
all year round not just when the footy's on. but still, respect is due to the transit driver i saw who had a FULL SIZE st george flying from a truncated flagpole welded to the top of his cab today! hows THAT for a mod)

OK I may be playing with fire here, as the owner is on the forum, but....
Just saw this in the for sale section. Are they taking the whizz?
Looks pretty cool from the side, body kit is a bit bold but looks properly fitted and not OTT - and even a louvered scoop vent in the right place, plus decent alloys...
But then... the front. Mk4 Golf lights on a Mk3 almost works and is a cool idea. But doesn't quite go the distance. Plus, no grille or anything to cover in it's place! And..... jesus.... a Mitzy Evo styled bumper/splitter. No. Just no.
Finally the back. Looks like an otherwise fine job, again. But... what's with the holes at the bottom? You can see the bodywork through them. Ugly. And of course, the L-plate! It's a real motorway warrior, grr. Even if you can
really afford to be doing something like this to your car whilst still a learner, why the hell didn't you just remove the plate off before taking the picture and broadcasting it to the world.... unless... of course... it's a permanent fixture and it can't be removed without damaging the paint?
(yep - apparently they've failed their test twice, according to the blurb on ebay)
(not like mine's any better though!....

chavtastic. i got some great stares of disgust from a set of schoolkids today!

i have to admit, at least the owner of the white one - they've put effort in and they know that the grille needs replaced and the back end needs properly sorted. respect for doing it... still i feel the need to rib, just for the evo stuff!)

I think sort the grille out and perhaps add a spoiler (the top end looked bare to me) and it's fine!! I wouldn't have minded driving that as a learner either!

i raced the worst looking clio ive ever seen last night.
Firstly, why is it people think that the bigger the exhaust, the better it it will look on the car?
i mean a 1.6 CANNOT handle a 5 1/4" inch exhaust, what are people thinking !!!!!!
So as well as having an exhaust too big, he had silver 'viper' stripes, another sad classic mod, he had Kind of M3 styles mirros that were so tiny, thay musta been un-useable to actually see anything on the road.
it also had a semi ok body kit, with 14" rims though !!!!!! hahahah
And the best mod of all time. . . the ironing board fish tail that was about 3 foot off the car bwaaaaaaaaa
WHY DO PEOPLE DO THIS !!! your not on a bloody race track !!!
Anwayz suffice to say i rained on his parade and gave him a light toasting
The man obviously spent far too much on his car and has no made it into a 'Pooper special'.
*personally hates novas and clios*

I've got a new one and guess what....
Its a Nova!
The guy has obviously spent a lot of time on it, but its hideous! Its a two tone job, dayglow orange at the front, and silver at the rear, breaking the two colours up is a jap style vinyl in a horribble shade of glow in the dark green. It sits low, and has the usual refinements, such as OTT wings etc. Not good at all.
Karl.
P.S. I have since discovered that the owner of the red Nova I had previously mentioned (evo front bumper, no rear bumper, two shades of red and dulux paint tin sized exhausts) has rolled it! Thats another one off the roads

*Gives a round of applause to the rolled nova*
I remember going Basildon and they had to close the car parks off because . . . you guessed it., . a red nova rolled and crushed the passengers arm !
hahahaha
Was funny though cos as all the cars were leaving literally, everyone was cursing them for spoiling the night
was fab

heh to look at it in the daytime now, it actually has a bit of a look of the old 80s Audi Quattro rally car about it, which would make it pretty mean when finished.
still trash that lower spoiler tho!
Wahey for destroyed novas! Problem is, they'll get em back upright, do a bit of cosmetic fixing to it, and keep on driving even though the body shell is cacked up... probably keep modding it even tho you'll be able to see the dents in good light.
Wonder if it's possible to get removable stripes.. i fancy putting a couple cheap white bonnet-to-booters on as a p1sstake. The car's already the right shade of blue to make it a Viper / Camaro Z-29 copy
(or... a flag. not a st george but an austin powers union jack on the top or the bonnet. i'd only need the red and the white

)

A continue on the 1.1 Renault 5, sorry apparently it's "twin turbo" the photos shows all.
Oh and while i was in the car park i saw a corsa showing that the lexus lights just don't suite corsa's as well as showing that alloy looking hubcaps of this sort are useless and stupid but it's all ok if you have a really big exhaust.
Again apologies photos are poo but was taken with my phone.
