Spax and Venom lowering springs?

Post by woody »

hi there :D

I was wondering if anyone had Spax or Venom motorsport springs fitted to their 9n's? and if so I'd really like to know how they preform.

I am on the standard shocks and want to know if these are a safe bet :? :?:

Hey! I've got spax -35mm on my 1.4 tdi 9n, front seems to have gone down alot, maybe more like 45mm? whiilst the back maybe only 30mm, these figures are just an estimate. the car has a nose down stance. I use the standard shocks and only encounter a bit of bobbing up and down when on certain surfaces going fast. they look much better and definatly makes the car feel more in thouch with the road. I will be changing the shocks for sports ones at some point, only because i like the counrty roads and think it would help. if you spend ya time on the city streets and M ways, springs alone will be fine, but if ya on the twisty stuff regular get some shocks too.
