This looks more like the 6n/6n2 and even the Fabia/Fiat Punto

Don't know what to make of it yet :?

I guess I like it, would need to see it on some decent wheels though!

I'm turning in to a post whore in this subject already!

What is with the tail lights, honestly?!?

I'm not keen on the mean look i like the friendly, happy 9n front.

However the GTI will probabl be different like the current Golf and the Lupo is, and i can see that working for it :)

Looks frumpy and dare I say it... even Corsa-like... I don't like it at all.

I hope they do something special with the Polo GTI, otherwise it'll look like a pocket grandma-rocket... bleh.

the front end has kinda grown on me, but wtf's going on with the Seat Arosa-style tailights?!

I'm not feeling it, sadly.

I can kind of see what they're trying to do. You can imagine the headlamp shape "morphing" if you position the Fox, the 9N2 and the Golf next to each other, but I'm rather underwhelmed. Not liking the chrome around the lights, and the full beam / side lights seem undersized to me.

Also not liking the rear at all. The lights I could live with and I'm happy to see that they haven't intruded into the tailgate itself, but what's with the lower profile of the glass? I can't help but think last gen Fiesta when I see that (I'm also sure the detailing where the parcel shelf meets the glass will be equally compromised).

I will reserve my final judgement until I've seen one in a dark colour (so I can assess the extent of the chrome grill) and once I've seen the GTI's specs. As it currently stands, it hasn't raced to the top of my replacement list as I hoped it might.

Shame.

Deek.
