How hard is it to change the sidelights, is there a guide?

Friend has a 9n and wants to change sidelights, is there a guide on here somewhere like the 6n2 guide ?

1. open bonnet
2. take off the bigger rubber cap on the headlight housing
3. use thumb and index finger to release the "clips", and pull out the holder and bulb out.
4. pull out bulb from bulb holder.
5. put new 1 in.
6. put the holder and bulb back in, until it "clips " in place.
7. put rubber cap back on
8. enjoy :D

easy for you to say, I cannot get my fingers anywhere near the clips to change the bulb :x

easy for you to say, I cannot get my fingers anywhere near the clips to change the bulb :x
the sidelight is near the top corner, nearest to the VW badge...
get a girl to do it :lol:

It's a bit harder on a TDI 1.4 and near impossible on a 19TDI to change bulbs as theres no room, I think you may be able to take the engine cover off if that's whats in the way.

It was also pretty difficult on the FSi.
