Painted front grille...

Post by ciden »

Does anyone have a pic of a 9N Polo with a colour coded front grille? (I'd like to see it on a car that hasn't been mod'ded a lot) I would like to see what it looks like. I don't know what I want...3 options: 1) colour code the original grille (in my case it'll be white), 2) get the chrome stripped grille or 3) get one like Mole's. Your help will be greatly appreciated guys!

Also what do you guys think it'll look like if I decide to have it colour coded?

Thx

I've seen some colour-coded grilles in Polos, Brazilians being so keen on painting their cars that the Ford Ka designers were disgusted when Ford Brasil decided to colour-code the Ka, thus probably ruining its original design. So it's very rare that a car is released here with any unpaited bits at all.

Anyway, I've seen some and I didn't like them, don't know why. I think even the colour-package'd cars need to have some black bits (including the grille) to balance things out. The black grille works better with the round 'lights and the VW badge.

But that's my opinion.

However, in case you decide for a grille like mole's, that looks better colour-coded!

Don't worry Nelson, hopefully by this time next week you won't be the only one (if I can work out how to get it on the car, that is  )

Deek.
