Cruise control???

can this be fitted to the car as a mod from the dealer as i wanted it on my car but could not wait 4 a factory order car

how much would it cost and is it simple to do

(my old 106 fall apart on me)

The new indicator stalk costs approx Â£60 and you will need VAG COM to enable the fuction on the ECU. It can be done as a mod as long as you have/can get access to VAG COM.

They'd probably charge you very expensively for what is in essence a very simple mod.

That is, if they don't simply say 'can't be done, mate' - that's what I usually get.

BTW, do you need the trip computer/MFA to do this mod, or are the stalk and VAGCOM enough?

I've got cruise and can't see why you'd need the computer for it - it doesn't use the computer. everything is controlled off the stalk and the only indicator that it's working is a light on the dash at the top between the fuel and temp gauges.
