So the weekend didnt quite go to plan..... the early start that was planned for Sunday never happened... It all got a little hazey after 3am, and our 9am start arrived a few hours later!!

The rear drums were a complete bastard, and the trusty Haynes manual was as useless as ever!!

After nearly braking one of the rear drums, we finally got it sorted and cleaned both drums and copper eased the little lever (no more squeeky squeeky! YAY!)

We then moved onto the suspension..... Not like a mk2 Golf or Corrado then!! figured that the 2hrs we'd aloud to do it would be over run, and I had to go home for a bbq.... :?

Oh well.. silent drums, clear indicators and silver brakes got done.. also spent a few hours on the P's!! They will be ready to take to the tyre shop tomorrow afternoon! Get the wheels back Wednesday and may have time that evening to put the springs on.. maybe..

The car looks so much different with the clear indicators. It looks so much newer now. I got a couple of pics but need to upload them so they will be up soon!!

Modding is so rewarding, isn't it?

Like the new look your front end has because of such a simple thing as clear indicators, that's just really really cool.
