Wanted a more stealthy look, I got the black VW badges and thought the silver GT red eye badge would look daft. Gonna remove the front one aswell I think (street sleeper?).

Im loving my wheels, even thought I bought them as temp wheels while I refurb my splitties, gonna get a spacer to bring them more into the arches aswell ready for when its lowered.

Got some ideas for it but I kinda want a Bora 1.8T also, I love the way they look and go!

Good idea........ Does it stay on ok or have you had to use some extra glue etc...... I was toyin' with goin' to a spray shop to ask how much for them to spray the red line but your way will defo be cheaper!!!!!

Yeh it stays on ok, even when you jetwash!

I took it off when it went to the bodyshop to be repaired and I dont know wehther I prefer it without or not.

For your 49p, you can do it about 6 times!

Well i've given it a try....... I'll trial it for a month or three and see how it goes....... Had to get the stripe from the local Halfords for £1.69  Cos the local MW had stopped stocking the strips and sent all thgeir stock back to the supplier!!! But it looks as though i would be able to re-apply it another two or three times looking at how much is left on the roll......

Must be one of the cheapest mods i've seen so far!!!

Thanks to PoloGTi for the idea

Quick piccy of the finished product..... Not a very good pic but you get the idea................
