Vw Launch weekend Duxford

Managed to get up there for a few hours today, to mainly look around the planes! free of charge which was quality and saved the 5 of us over 50 quid.
Really good day, lots of impressive new models, the new Passat being my favourite with the almost Ferrari style after-burner rear lights
Not very keen on the Golf Plus, and the car that i should be talking about most...the Polo was nothing special, the front end is much tidier but they seem to have lost the plot on the rear lights, too much colour! and some sort of angel eye rear lights going on, very weird.
All in all a great afternoon out watching a few display planes, and their seemed to be quite a few people test-driving but not buying :p

Anyone else go there? the invite came in the post about 2 weeks ago and we could still win a brand new polo,passat or golf plus, Bargain!

I didn't go but my local dealership (Inchcape) have sent me a similar letter and invitation to do the same thing at RAF Cosford. Think I might pop along if only to take a look at and have a drive of the new Polo. My Dad wants to see the Passat so two birds, one stone...
