Hi, just registered on here.
My girlfriend ordered a Polo GP 1.4 5 door SE yesterday.
We origionally only went to VW to browse, didn't think we'd ever buy one!
Out of the other cars we looked at (Honda Jazz, Toyota Yaris) it was by far the best.
The only options that we got on it were : multifunction computer, mats and pearl paint. We (rather I) got the price down to £10,384. It's olympic blue with anthracite interior.
There's a 6 week wait or so for it, but I believe we made the right decision.

The Yaris was a lot nicer to drive, almost sporty. Quite good fun. Boot space was minimal and the stereo was very poor and couldn't be changed easily.
The Jazz was ok to drive, but wasn't for us. The rear seats looked like they had come straight from a minibus, the carpet moved around when you put your feet on it and it didn't even look good.
We liked the Polo as soon as we saw it.
The dealer phoned earlier and said if we want ours with the multifunction computer then it will be september time. But they will have one exactly the same but without the computer in about 2 weeks time, so we're going for that one!
