Attention Polo TD owners: chrome ring dials on eBay - cheap!

Post by Babe RuthLess »

Ok folks, this one is for people with a Polo Diesel:

http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 2423932957

Chrome-ringed dials, quite cheap!

Only 4 days to go... Apparently the seller will only send item to Germany, but e-mail them and they should send it to you in the UK... Quite cool, but I'm not getting it because:

1. It's for the Diesel versions
2. The seller won't take PayPal, and a bank transfer OUT of Brazil costs £20 regardless of the amount I send so I'll probably lose the savings.

Anyways I think this should fit UK cars (RHD), I mean it's all modular these days.

Hope this helps!

Oops I forgot the MPH thing...

Guess that's something that would fail a MoT, right?

You should really go metric, but that's another discussion. Maybe forum members from elsewhere in Europe could benefit?

2Ks right (just for a change   ), you only need to have your clocks converted from KPH to MPH if the entire car has been imported. very bizzare rule :?

Hehe that's weird. So the cops won't bother you if they spotted a KPH speedo then?

Because over here they used to impound a few 'Miami' (grey) imports that came from the US totally out of spec (mph speedo, red indicator lenses, US-spec headlights etc.).
