I have searched high and low and can't find it!!

Ive done 127mph ish but I wouldnt believe it!
On the way to VW Festival MikeTDi of uk-mk4s.net said the fastest we went was 88mph on his gps, where as I swore we were doing almost 100mph at one point!!!

Personally I've had my speedo reading accurate up to 100mph on a private road of course, never had the equipment to test above that speed accurately

I did 221 Km/h BEFORE i installed the camshafts....
Haven't tryed for a new number yet....but you get the idea...

My road pilot indicates that the speedo over reads by 5mph.
However every car could be different depending on setup, tyre ware etc etc.

Ive had an INDICATED 135mph on the clock on mine. makes sense if the speedo is over by 5mp to be honest. that would put me on about 130mph which sounds about right including the slight mods i have.

Erm, Sterling its called apparently... driving up in my dads audi in 15 mins then ill be driving home in the GTi, just sorted insurance out for it. Got tha cash on my desk in 50's. Well worth it!
Can't wait til drive it back!
