Post by Gumbo_88 »

Hey guys n gals, can anyone suggest ways of cleaning the honeycomb grille on the Gti, or suggest methods or products used, even after a clean its still covered in dust and stuff clinging on, some of the people on here have very black looking grilles.

Any good car shampoo and use a soft bristle paint brush to get it all out then use AutoGlym vinyl and rubber care to get it nice and black :D

Failing that, remove it and powerwash it  hehe just thought of it now

mine gets a bit mucky too, I just wash it off with hose/sponge/car shampoo

brush as above sounds like a good idea

I cant be bothered messing arounf cleaning each bit of the grille, it gets dirty almost instantly if it rains (where the water pools up and dries out)

the rest of my car is spotless tho!
