Dropped TDI on porky rims

what do you guys think of my dropped tdi. Shes a daily driver and does over 1200 miles a week

Hmm dury still out on this one for me! Still a sweet motor just dont know if the rims suit the car. Its kinda Old Skool mixed with new skool!?!

the idea was to mix old skool wheels on a modern car. Looks better in the flesh. Ill wax her and take some more pics.
Couldnt do the silver roses, because i'm thinking of puting a set on either my caddy or the wifes lupo gti

It`s looking sweet m8 i like the rims well done, makes some difference getting it lowered eh got mine done few weeks ago, harsh ride but the looks make up for that :lol: :lol:

Wheels are off a porsche 928, But have been polished.

Dazza how much have you lowered yours?, did you have trouble with the drivers side driveshaft?? I had to modify the drop links on the antiroll bar

Mines is lowered 50mm on spax springs m8, and doesn`t foul the driveshaft dunno if yours is the 1.4 tdi but i wouldn`t have thought that it would be a different set up than mine

mine is the 1.4tdi. I dropped it as low as i could on the coilovers. Literally the sump is 3-4 inches off the floor. i'll post some pics soon.

Bet you have to be careful with that, being as they have aluminum sumps :shock:

so far its been ok only touched on a few things. Just makes me a more careful driver. Heres a pic under the car, and yes i drive it at this height all the time.
