Red Leads Fitted

Call me sad, but I like them a lot lol. Fitted them today, no problems so far. First to do this?

thanks m8, managed to get them off ebay for only Â£30 inc. postage for all four - they were brand new sealed geniune VW parts, as fitted on the Polo GTI 1.6 engine

I was discussing this mod on the forum and we ended up not being sure if they would work for my 1.4 16v, but when they popped up on ebay (never seen them on there before or since, real vw leads) I just had to take the plunge - turns out they are exact same length for all four cylinders and fittment

I think about Â£10.14+VAT each normally, from VAG Parts? roughly Â£47 + post, cost more from your dealer I guess

Whats neat, is that the 'tops' are also red, for the connections to the sparks and DIS module - whereas i've only seen black ends in a GTI engine bay
