EGR Shutdown

Post by kash »

Last night I put a nail into the tube that goes into the EGR valve, blocking it completley, now im getting pure fresh air into my engine I feel that the turbo spools quicker and there is more power and torque below 2000rpm.
Anybody else blocked their EGR physically or electronically and noticed any difference? The main reason for me doing this was to prevent sooty buildups in my inlet manifold.
