On a fine, 1m by 1.5m, authentic imitation polypropylene, 2005 vintage chippings warning sign? Can deliver, or attempt to fax it instead.
This bugger along with many many others have been littering up a local country route round my way for weeks - they resurfaced the thing (badly!!) a few months back and slapped silly speed restrictions on it despite there not really being enough stone chips put down to be any loose ones. Silly both because they were too low, and inconsistent (a mix of 10 and 20mph on a LONG stretch of 60mph road - bad thing is, some numpties actually obeyed them, rather than just taking it as "take it easy, 25-30 will do")
since then, the 20mph ones have been removed, but the 10s have stayed in situ for several weeks, depite white lines having been repainted and the surface well established, good once more for 35 to 90mph depending on position.
transported one pair to another bit of more serious roadworks nearer my gaff which had a convenient empty pole ... now you've got to go thru them at 10mph, but at least its only a 30 limit road... hehe
another one's sitting in my boot, if anyone wants it for shenanigans
all the others have been ripped down/knocked over (not only by me, seems locals have been giving them some) into the ditches. will remove to landfill if theyre not officially collected in a month.
i hate it when the lazy sods who pass for transport admin and maintenance in this country cant be arsed to do their jobs and we have to either do it for them or kick up an almighty stink til they get off their arses. the whole affair didnt even take me ten minutes for the whole 3-mile-ish length.
its not stealing if the stuff has been abandoned - just like if its been thrown on the rubbish heap. which will probably be the fate of the others.
What am i bid?
